What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I charge reasonable rates. I dont "keep the meter running" on every minute I edit. I typically go above and beyond to make sure you get what you need. I can also set up your YouTube channel or other social media and upload for you. I also teach video production / editing for an hourly rate.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

A phone or text conversation to understand the nature of the project. We pick a time to meet and start filming! It usually takes a few days or a week to turn the project around in edit. I can also meet you to teach editing and video production.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

BFA from the U of A. 20 years experience in local news TV stations, freelancing, producing my own TV show for PBS. Shoot, write, edit, produce, deliver, distribution.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I went to U of A to study Media Arts and worked at the ABC affiliate during school.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Network News, Sports, Real Estate, Business Owners, Production Companies, TV Stations, Individuals needing visual media promotion, international customers in tourism and hospitality.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I enjoy teaching editing and video production, filming international travel projects. Real estate home tours, music videos.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Go with someone who will keep it simple. Using 15 lights on a set is good for Network News but not your personal project. Someone who will make a few changes to the final edit without cha
