Introduction

Marketing has become a very personal undertaking, as social media integrated itself into everyone’s daily lives. This is why I love focusing on story driven media with strong educational and entertaining elements, which are more likely to resonate in a young, professional audience. I work closely and directly with my clients from start to finish. No outsourcing or assigning someone to shoot and someone else to edit the project. This way I’m as much involved, and as close to the project as my client is. No mixed up messages, nothing lost in translation. I encourage my clients to integrate personal experiences or anecdotes into their projects where applicable. Show your human side and let potential customers connect with you and your story. Serving clients from corporate levels, small businesses and startups alike, I have happy customers in the continental US, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, China and India. Even individuals like you and me will find affordable, but more importantly, effective video services with ISDesigns. Having been in business for over 12 years, I know what drives powerful media that engages and connects to your audience. Create brand awareness across all your social media platforms with updated, fresh materials for a young and evolved market. Try your next round-table discussions in 360˚ VR media. Or cover your event in 4K. ISDesigns - Your Business, Your Product. Yourself. Quite frankly, there is nothing more fulfilling to me than being creative. And sharing this creativity with my clients who are equally enthusiastic and excited about their unique projects is the absolute highlight of my work-day. It is delightful to work with such a diversity of individuals of different backgrounds, cultures and life styles. It's the daily exchange of ideas and exercise in critical thinking that allows the projects I produce to grow and evolve.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
ISDesigns produces customized video projects that are designed to meet your specific needs. While for a lot of projects I can apply an umbrella price, many projects are unique, require different types of equipment and a different approach to develop a strategy. The typical question "How much does a 1-2 minute video cost?" will give you a quote range that's not helpful. "How much does a car cost? Or a house?" Don't compare the numbers, look at the building blocks and the content. Often I can adjust my initial quote, once we've discussed the project in more detail.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Every customer has a unique set of desires and goals for their project, may it be video, photos or motion graphics. This is what makes my job so fascinating and fun. I usually collect as much information as I can about the customer's project, so that I can give an accurate customized quote. If the customer agrees with the above, we exchange contact information so that I can setup a customer account which later helps with communication, agreements and invoices. We then proceed to develop a strategy for production and post production before the hands-on work begins.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I'm a professionally trained videographer, editor and filmmaker. I studied video and multimedia at Berkeley, CA. Every professional in the field has to stay on top of things. Especially in the fast paced digital media world, where new equipment and software is being introduced almost on a daily basis. One cannot rest. You take a break, you fall behind. Attending seminars and networking events to collaborate and learn the latest trends is an important factor in my business.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I always worked visually. And since childhood I had a fondness of cameras and image recording devices of any sort. I always loved to draw and paint. So, it is not a surprise that in this day and age, where digital media is ever present and the need for digital media is on a constant rise I decided to enjoy what I do professionally.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
At ISDesigns I produce professional marketing and promotional media. My clients range from corporate management to small business owners startups and individuals like you and me.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Not too long ago I produced an infomercial type marketing video that highlights a specific product. We did a couple of customer testimonials and a lot of really fun action shots with the product in use. My client was very happy with the outcome and the results the video brought to her business. Up until today I hear from her about the amazing feedback she has gotten to the video which lives on the landing page of her website.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Remember you are unique, as is your specific media request. Look at the samples provided. Often you will find at least part of what you envision for your own project. It is almost impossible to see a sample that represents exactly what you need. If you are unsure, ask me if there are other samples, or what it would take to create what you're looking for.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
I will want to know what goals my clients are trying to achieve with the media they ask me to produce. An initial discussion will clarify a lot of important factors that will help develop a great media masterpiece. It's all in the planning. What do you aim to communicate? Where will the media product be seen? Who is your audience?
