Creator and producer of the Kansas Citians of the Year Video for 2024 Nominee for Business of the Year by Blue Springs Chamber of Commerce Nominated as a KC Small Business Superstar by KC Chamber of Commerce. Hello! We are Dion and Rachel, on a mission to create an awesome video and make it as seamless as possible for you. We are based out of the East side of the KC Metro, love meeting new people and creating a film/video that wows! We specialize in wedding highlight films, business promos/photos, individual and event promotional videos, as well as capturing drone footage. Dion LOVES to create wedding + event highlight videos and uses his video degree to consider framing, what looks best and creating awesome edits within the edit room. Rachel LOVES meeting new people, making awesome connections and serving clients so they can achieve what visual story they want to convey. With a MBA and project management certificate, Rachel loves to serve the KC community + KC business owners through photography. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We work with our clients one-on-one to ensure we are providing competitive pricing for their specific video.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We will follow up with our customer to go over logistics of the project over the phone or in person. We understand this is a big decision and we want to make our clients as comfortable as possible when speaking with us. Once their vision is discussed, we will create a contract and will collect a 25% deposit (weddings)/50% deposit (promo video) to ensure the date is blocked on our calendar.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Dion began his studies at UMKC and completed a degree in Communications/Film. He started freelance work in 2019 and has created awesome videos for clients since then.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Family Portraits, Beauty Pageant Winners, Mayoral Candidate, Corporate Clients and Bride/Groom, we have worked with a variety of customers.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We worked with several Beauty Pageant winners by creating Highlight Videos for each of them. This project entailed several hours of filming and a turn around time of one week for the final project for each pageant contestant.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

It's okay to ask what type of training they have in video production. Also ensure you ask him/her how long they have been studying videography, what type of equipment they use and provide their website to look at their work.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

What is the turn around time for the project? What is your vision for the project? Will royalty free music be used? Will a deposit need to be placed to hold your spot? When is final payment made? Will a contract be signed? Will you have full rights to your video?
