Introduction

Quality, quality, quality! Anyone can purchase an expensive (or inexpensive) camera and hang out a shingle claiming to be a professional photographer or videographer, but true quality photos and videos don't just happen by chance. I love helping people document important moments in their lives. I enjoy meeting new and interesting people and developing relationships with my clients that sometimes last for years.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My clients receive all of the images I take in full resolution with copyright, so they can print the photos or use them in whatever way they need. I do not force my customers to buy expensive prints through me, though I can recommend good processors who make good prints. Similarly, my video clients receive their videos in full resolution and may use them as they see fit. I am happy to help with resizing or uploading the videos as needed.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

When working with a new client, I work to determine exactly what the client needs, asking further questions as necessary. I then work to achieve the goal that the client has for the project.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a self-taught photographer and videographer. I have taken several courses, but in general I rely on my own abilities and knowledge to achieve the best results.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have always been interested in photography, and eventually I got a decent camera, and then I got an even better camera that was also an excellent video camera, and things just snowballed after that.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with individuals, small businesses, schools and universities, the NCAA and online content providers like Overtime Sports. I also have done many jobs for real estate agents.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I have recently completed two crowd-sourcing videos that have both been funded.
