Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We are very competitive when it comes to pricing, and will work with clients to insure that what we bid is commensurate with the client's needs, budget, and goals for the project. This means that we will be sensitive to financial needs, generous with our time, and fair with our expectations.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Here is our process for working with a new customer: 1) Begin with consultations and conferencing, insuring that we establish excellent communication channels with the client(s). 2) Learn what the objectives are for the production - find out exactly what the client wishes to achieve 3) Develop a plan for addressing the objectives - whether it be a video treatment, script, or simple shot list 4) Present plans/scripts/etc to client for them to sign off 5) Implement the plan, prepare a draft for review 6) Client review of the draft, receive comments and edit points 7) Make adjustments as needed 8) Prepare final draft for review 9) Final review by client 10) Render master file

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have professional training several areas, including music performance, administration and management, videography, photography, and more

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I have been in creative careers since a young boy, starting out as a professional musician, itinerant artist, recording artist, and more. I eventually discovered the visual arts were more appealing to me than my music career and shifted focus to producing creative video content.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We have worked with everything from fortune 500 companies to small businesses, retail outlets, entrepreneurs, doctors, lawyers, counselors, artists, educators, and much more.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I enjoy the opportunity to develop cinematic commercial content, of which we have several examples on our website.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
1. Check RATINGS AND REVIEWS. 2. Don't rely on just two or three ratings and reviews - anyone can achieve that. Look for long term success. 3. Look for efficient, responsive and clear communication. 4. Look for flexibility in pricing. It's difficult to assess a firm estimate until the provider has had a chance to understand the full scope of the project.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
1. Have you done this type of project before? 2. What is your estimated turn around time for this project? 3. How frequently will I be updated on your progress? 4. Do you have a standard contract form? 5. Do you have business insurance? 6. Can you provide a COI if necessary? 7. Do you charge for use of your equipment?
