Reel Big Media, has become one of the most creative and progressive media companies in the lower 48. Started in 2007, Reel Big Media provides our clients a diverse array of media products and services. We utilize some of the most technologically advanced equipment and software in the industry, allowing us to produce visually stunning work. Oh, and we are all FAA licensed aerial drone pilots! Our Team includes professionals from all disciplines of Video, Film, Editing, & more. Using a collaborative approach to all of our projects allows us to come up with creative yet practical solutions for our clients. With experience in the “real world”, we understand all the elements involved in corporate and small business marketing. Creativity is the driving force behind much of our work. We enjoy working with all types of industries, allowing us to learn about the inner-workings of technology we've never been previously exposed to. Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

There really is no once-size-fits-all for video production. Each client's needs are usually different, so pricing reflects that. We aren't the cheapest company but we aren't the most expensive. We are a professional company with insurance, employees, etc. If you are looking for a college kid with a camera and a tripod, we aren't the right fit for you.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We like to hit the ball out of the park on every single project we take on. It's the main reason we have so many repeat customers. Our process is simple - we go over all pre-production issues, schedule a shoot date, shoot your project, transfer all files to dropbox.com, and then provide a working draft of your video within the agreed upon timeline.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We all have B.A.s in Communications focusing in Advertising, Broadcast Journalism and Business. In addition our Aerial Drone Pilots are all licensed by the FAA and have completed the various steps to become Professional Pilots under the new ruling.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

We saw the type of videos that were being produced and knew we could produce a far better product for much less money. Our work has spoken for itself.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We work with all types of customers from mom and pop businesses to well-established Corporate entities.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We've been producing alot of drone videos for various Commercial Real Estate groups. We've been able to turn around these videos within a week from filming. Fully edited, with music, graphics, logo integration, etc.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

My advice would be to not always go with the lowest price. Most of the time, low price equals lower quality. Many of these one-person outfits don't have the proper licensing or insurance to ensure you are both protected in case of an accident or property/personal damage.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

I would recommend being as specific as you can on the project. Then we as the production company can really pinpoint the ballpark quote instead of playing the guessing game.
