Introduction

Hello! My name is Zach Hudson and am the owner and founder of Gloomer Entertainment. I am an award-winning cinematographer and an audio-engineer that graduated from one of the most prestigious recording arts schools in the country. Gloomer entertainment specializes in corporate events, video ads, private event video & photo, music videos, headshots, weddings & more. I am always the one you'll be dealing with on your shoots, unlike a lot of larger video production companies that hire people like me to do the shoot for them. I do have a trusted team when there is more than one person required for the shoot as well. We’ve worked with the biggest brands like Amazon, DoorDash, e.l.f., iHeartRadio, NBA, NCAA, & many more reputable brands, as well as many small businesses and artists as well. Communication is important and we usually custom-tailor packages based off exactly what you need and also offer plenty of marketing strategies when needed. Looking forward to working with you!

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I usually go by a contract rate, rather than hourly. We make set terms to leave the stress of going over an hour on a shoot and worrying about paying for it.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I usually go through a phone call or Skype/FaceTime call to introduce myself and have the customer describe their needs for their project. I give them professional advice how we’d tackle their obstacles while maintaining perfect communication. I offer quite a bit of creative direction when it comes to my clients as well.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I am a graduate of The Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I started as an audio engineer 10 years ago I slowly progressed into video, because I was needing it myself for personal projects. Once I figured I could help others make their vision come to life, I decided to take it more seriously and professionally.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
CEOs, local businesses owners, musicians, celebrities, YouTube channel owners, etc. I have worked with just about every part of the video spectrum you can think of.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I did a commercial shoot and company interviews describing the ins and outs of the business. The team was great to work with and it overall boosted their sales dramatically! It only took a day of shooting and a couple days of editing.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Make sure you get someone who won’t take shortcuts on your work. You want to make something the best it can be, because ultimately, that’s what’s going to grow your brand or business!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Ask if they can make their desired budget work for the project at hand, ask what kind of experience they have in the field, and try to get a sense of personality! No one wants to work with a rude person, make sure you hire a friendly and professional individual.
