What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

At Vast Whisper Productions we work with your budget. Our passion isn't to have huge productions but to tell powerful stories and with that we do our most to make your budget work. Many companies focus on gear and budgets when at the end of the day "story" is what is going to make you stand out. We have done shoots with over $100,000 dollars worth of gear and shoots with less than $5,000 but at the end of the day both clients were just as satisfied because we focused on the story. Sometimes though it is necessary to have a large budget because of the production value that is needed. Our rates for shooting and editing are very competitive so reach out to us today to see what we can do for you!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We have a FAA Part 107 sUAS certified drone pilot for our aerial videography and photography. If you have a company that is doing drone work for you without this certification they are breaking the law. It is also a matter of safety. Without having the knowledge gained from this certification a pilot would be endangering those around themselves.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Originally a graduate of Texas A&M with a degree in Construction Management, I left my job at Manhattan Construction to peruse my passion for telling stories. My film career started in South Africa where I lived for a year before moving back to Houston and began producing videos full time for an organization with around 400 employees. I left that job after 3 years to start Vast Whisper Productions, LLC. I now run Vast Whisper Productions full time after having been in this industry for 5 years.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We have experience with a full range of clients. We have done projects that range from covering events for Chrysler and Honda to shooting documentary films, corporate videos and even making non profit promotional videos.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Have you looked into the average cost to create a video? There are many factors that all play a huge role in overall cost of a project. Here are a few things that go into filming: equipment (cameras, lighting, audio, drones), crew size (one or two camera men, assistant camera men, gaffers, audio tech, directors, personal assistants), preproduction time (script writing, location scouting, storyboarding), number of shooting days, post production time (editing, finding music, creating proxies, motion graphics for lower thirds and logos), and talent.

What is the product or service that you offer? What is the problem this product is addressing? How is this product fixing the problem? What is the primary goal of the video I want to make? (volunteers, sales, recruiting, training, etc.)
