Introduction

I make it a point to treat my clients the way I want to be treated. I enjoy meeting and working with people, which helps me to be able to better understand what the client is really looking for, bringing out their personality. Being a part of documenting the special moments in my clients lives. Providing a high quality product at a reasonable cost. This has allowed me to receive many referrals and repeat business from the same families time and time again.

Q&A

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Meeting with the client, on the phone or in person. Discussing what they are looking for, reviewing any previous work I have done. This also is a good time for the client to show me any examples of work they may want to fold in to their special day.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have been trained by photographers for Vogue and Bridal Magazines.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Started out years ago as a hobby. Did many events for free to get the experience. Evolved into the current business I am running today.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Most of my work tends to be around family life events, Weddings, birthday parties of all ages and nationalities, Funerals, etc. I have also worked with musicians recording concerts and doing album covers.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I did volunteer work for a local charity awards banquet. I did their video for them and they have been able to turn it into a promotional video for the agency.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Look at the reviews. Do not judge a professional based on one or two. Many people will only provide feedback if it is negative. With respect to the pricing, the higher the price does not always mean better quality. I tend to be in the middle or below in my quotes, which allows me to provide a high quality product, get that repeat business.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Look for examples of their work. Meet with them if at all possible on the phone or in-person. How long have they been shooting the type of work you want done? What do their past clients say about them?
