We will arrive at least 59 minutes before your ceremony begins. We will be ready to shoot 45 minutes before your ceremony begins to capture your guests as as the arrive and capture the essence of your day. The groom will be mic’d to ensure great audio! We will use music from your wedding that you provide. Final product delivered on one Thumb Drive unedited within 14 days. We will also hold a copy of your media for 90 day to edit. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I give you what you want. Raw Video Solution - up to 5 hours ( you receive all four cameras media from the SD cards- 20 hours) on hard drive UNEDITED. No DVD. Services: Document up to 6 hours of Multi-camera angle coverage with complete editing Services Up to 8 hours of Multiple camera angle coverage with a second shooter to document the best possible video angles with complete editing. Some of the options available: 1. Photography 2. Additional shooters 3. Photos from the video 4. Raw, unedited footage only 5. Same-day editing 6. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I read the request posted on Thumbtack and need to discuss the wedding or event to be recorded to determine what is the desired outcome. Most often this is at a face to face meeting.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Audio and video recording at Northwest Nazarene University and recording course from Army Band conference.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I grew up in a photo household. My father had several cameras and I did my own dark room. I photographed a couple of weddings in the 1970. Then started shooting VHS projects editing some on my Mac in the 1990s. Started shooting video of my church services and someone asked me to do their wedding and it grew from there. I love being able to give the video or photos to the couple or families that they will treasure and see their eyes light up.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Most of my clients want to document their special day with a video of their Wedding Ceremony, and main points of the Reception. This could be an unedited recording of the Ceremony lasting twelve minutes. Or a huge Church ceremony and Mass lasting ninety minutes. Including the reception, the editing requires up to fifty hours.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I take great care to include what the couple has requested. I usually catch many expressions in the wedding party or guests that the Bride and Groom would never see if I had not had 3 to 5 camera rolling.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Fill out my list of what you want in the video. EVERY WEDDING IS DIFFERENT. Ask lots of questions and don’t be afraid to try something other than what you already know.

Do I want to document what really happens my wedding day or just have special poses.
