Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We tailor our pricing to each project's specific details. While we may not offer the lowest rates, our focus is on delivering superior quality and a refined process.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
After receiving project details, we provide a quote. Upon approval and deposit payment, we schedule and reserve the shooting day for the client. On the day of the shoot, we send a reminder and arrive at the location early, depending on the project's needs. Once the shoot is complete, we communicate during post-production as necessary. We share photos via the Pixieset application, and videos through Vimeo, Dropbox, or WeTransfer. If revisions are needed, we complete them before finalizing the project.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
We've been dedicated professionals in the photography and videography industry for over 7 years, accumulating a wealth of experience across a diverse range of shooting locations. Our extensive portfolio includes projects in bustling urban environments, serene natural landscapes, intimate indoor settings, and everything in between. This varied experience has equipped us with the versatility and adaptability needed to tackle any project, regardless of its unique challenges or requirements.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I began my career in video production in Europe seven years ago. For the past two years in San Francisco, I've expanded into social media management while continuing photo and video production. We've grown our expertise across multiple areas and remain committed to continuous improvement.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Our diverse clientele includes wedding couples, restaurant owners and managers, homeowners and architects, event planners, tech companies, motorsport enthusiasts, families, product manufacturers, doctors, schools, beauty salons, fashion week producers, real estate companies, and trainers.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Recently, one of our most enjoyable projects was the Franciacorta Wine Tasting Experience. This event lasted approximately 3 to 4 hours, during which restaurant owners and managers gathered at SF MoMA Grace to participate in the tasting. Organized by Wine&Co, our role was solely photography—we captured many natural moments and took some editorial-style photos. The post-production phase took three days, and we delivered the final project to the client within a total of four days.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
When hiring a photography and videography provider, focus on quality, experience, and professionalism. Review their portfolio to ensure their style matches your vision. Look for someone with expertise in your industry, whether it’s restaurants, events, or branding. Clear communication, reliability, and strong post-production skills are just as important as capturing great shots. At Caria Visuals, we prioritize creativity and professionalism to deliver high-quality visuals that truly represent your brand.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
If the customer doesn’t have a clear plan, we highly recommend scheduling a phone consultation with a professional first. This allows for proper guidance and ensures the project starts with a strong foundation. Before reaching out, customers should think through a few key details: What is the main goal of the project? Who is the target audience? Where and when will the shoot take place? How long should the video be, and how many photos are needed? Having a general vision, even if not fully defined, helps professionals create a structured workflow and offer the best creative solutions. A well-thought-out project leads to better results, smoother collaboration, and content that truly represents your brand.
