Introduction

“Art is not what you see, but what you make others see”. – Edgar Degas. This statement sums up my approach to photography. Art is not only a passion but a way of life for me, I’m also a Painter, Art Teacher and hold a master’s degree in fine arts. I want to use my artistic skills to serve you and bring you joy. If you decided to hire me you’ll recognize that I approach every photo-shoot as a blank canvas, where memories can be captured for the rest of time. I love capturing my customers in a magical and creative way. When you receive your photos you’ll be able to recognize that I try to tell a story with every photo I take, you will recognize my ability to take into consideration minute details such as lighting and the way it can impact a face or setting. I love the opportunity to be creative by finding ways to make my clients look their best. Seeing a client happy gives me the greatest joy. Having the opportunity to work with interesting individuals, from all walks of life is pretty awesome. The smiles on faces of skeptical or photo shy clients, after seeing their photos and loving what they see is priceless. I also provide timely and efficient service.

1. After the quote has been accepted I would like a phone consultation to better understand your needs and budget. 2. After the phone consultation I will send you an invoice and attached contract, of which you will be required to pay a $50 deposit or 30% towards your event budget. 3. I will be in constant communication until the day of your event or shoot. 4. After the shoot you can expect your final images within 7 business days. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Graduated Parsons School of Design in NYC with a Master’s degree in Fine Arts, worked for several years with a Wedding photography company as a 2nd shooter, then as a main shooter before I decided to branch out on my own.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Before becoming a professional photographer in 2014, I developed a passion for the arts in my childhood. As a young adult photography began as a hobby; taking photographic references on the streets of New York City for my drawings and paintings. It quickly developed into a genuine passion, and I became the designated photographer to my family, friends, and coworkers. The positive feedback I received encouraged me to pursue it more seriously.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have worked with people of all ages, ethnicity, and backgrounds, as well as companies, including small and large family groups, pets, children (babies, toddlers, older children), business owners, models, expecting mothers, couples. I love the variety of assignments I’ve gotten and seek to continue working with varied customers.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
It was a family shoot for a client who’s dad was ill, my client wanted to capture memories before her father would go into the hospital. This family had not taken family photos in over 20 years. We did the shoot outdoors, and it was a beautiful setting at a ranch with horses. The shoot took 1 ½ hours. The clients absolutely loved their photos, as it was late afternoon, and the sun was setting. Having these photos commemorating that moment in their life meant so much to them.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Like in any great relationship, I believe that chemistry is still important between a photographer and client(s). Inquire about the photographers experience regarding the session you want, time invest for photo-shoot, quantity and amount of images given, location of photo shoot. Make sure the photographer has a website or previous work related to what you want. Ask questions if you’re unclear of anything.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
1. Does the photographer provide props for your specific shoot. 2. How many outfit changes are allowed in the time given. 3. Is there flexible scheduling 4.What’s the cancellation or re-scheduling policy?
