What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Collaboration starts with an accurate Quote. If you encounter a production partner that doesn't ask questions about your needs for a given project and just quotes you a price, look elsewhere. In this business, if the price is too good to be true, it actually is. Great video production is a collaborative undertaking and that feeling has to be present from the start- even before the project scope is determined. The magic occurs when the passion of the customer for the mission of the project mingles with the passion of the filmmaker to tell a compelling story.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

The essential ones: 1) What do we want to accomplish with this project and who is the intended audience? 2) Where do you want to film and what do you want to capture? 3) When do you think you'll be ready to film and do you want the final video content delivered to you?
