Introduction

I'm new to Thumbtack but not to photography. 20 years of experience, working with wonderful people, many repeat clients, and enjoying the opportunity to tell stories through photos and video. Portraits, headshots, events and corporate/commercial photography. Portraits I love shooting portraits! Solo, couples, families, graduation and group portraits. If you want something dramatic checkout some of my images. Portraits of every kind, including lifestyle, environmental, candid, street, celebrity, glamour and fine art. Headshots Is it time to update your profile or your company website or advertising material? Here's where I can add value and give you and your teams a winning headshot. ~ Professional/Business Headshots ~ Actor/Modeling Headshots ~ Corporate headshots on location or in studio ~ Large volume headshots on location ~ Ask about our convention headshot/portrait program that drives leads and adds value to your convention or event program. Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I'm not the cheapest photographer on Thumbtack or in the Las Vegas market but I'm dedicated to bringing you the best photo experience and best value for your photoshoot. I love the printed projects as well, so if you're looking to get prints, wall art or albums I can work with you and your budgets to bring you great value and beautiful prints.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
If you reach out and we agree to work on a project, you'll find me communcating with you from the outset. I want to make sure we work together to have a fun shoot day and the more planning and communication we have prior to the shoot date the better. I'll ask you to share your ideas for the shoot, things you like, don't like and what you hope the finish project to look like. We'll share images, plan locations and most of all we'll have fun shooting. I'm very easy to work with.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I am self taught but over the years have had the chance to meet, work with and learn from some of the most amazing photographers. I'm still learning, still experimenting and loving every minute of it. With more than 2000 events and hundreds of portraits and headshots, I've had the chance to build my knowledge base and creative talents that will bring value to your project.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
My dad was an avid amateur photographer and I was hooked the first time I picked up one of his cameras. Photography was a hobby until I realized quite quickly that I love everything about creating pictures and I made in my business. Its not just my job, its still my passion.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have worked with some of the largest companies including Remy Martin, Smirnoff, P&G, Amazon, NFL, Subnation, WSOP, The Art Directors Guild, CinemaCon, United Masters, Warner Music Group, iHeart Music Festival, Acura, The Grammys, The Latin Grammys, Netflix, Paramount, National Geographic, Calibash, LA Times, Carnival Cruise Lines, The Salvation Army and many more. I've worked with a lot of celebrity clients, actors and business people. I've shot lots of family portraits and as the in house photographer for The Artists Project shot headshots and portraits for many actors in the Los Angeles area. I've teamed up with a number of realtors and companies to provide photography services for the clients. Hugely popular project so call me!!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I love the excitement and energy that accompanies the big events but I get the most satisfaction from shooting portraits for clients. A favorite job recently was shooting the fashion editorial of Adolfo Sanchez for Dressy Magazine with the beautiful Eugenia Kuzmina.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
If you're looking to hire a photographer, make sure you look at their work and see if it matches the style of images you want. The better idea you have of what you want the better chance you'll find the photographer best suited to your project. There should be plenty of communication prior to the shoot to make sure the day of the shoot goes smoothly. Don't miss the opportunity to print your work, its such a shame if it only ever lands up on your computer or online.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Before you give me a photographer a call, I'd make sure you have an idea of your budget, the type of shoot, dates, and maybe a location or idea you have in mind. The more information you can give the photographer, the better job they can do quoting your project and delivering an amazing final product. The communication should be online, the phone and clearly written out before the shoot date so all your questions are answered and there are no surprises.
