My fees are for the service of photographing an event or session. I do not include printed products in my quoted fees, nor do I require that you purchase a set of prints as a part of this quoted fee. All photographs will be made using high quality photographic equipment and all photographs will be taken in RAW format. Every photograph is reviewed and processed individually before being delivered via a password protected, website gallery. The photographs will be delivered in the highest possible resolution and available for free download in .JPG format from the gallery website.

Normally, I ask that you hire me on Thumbtack by clicking through the hiring process that is done through the website. Once you choose me as your photographer, we communicate via the Thumbtack messaging feature, via telephone or email to arrange a date, time and location for the session. If it is a wedding or other event that requires a consultation, we can arrange a meeting to discuss the details. I welcome the opportunity to meet with you and will do all I can to ensure that we have discussed all aspects of the session/event coverage to ensure the expectations are properly set and the assignment understood.

I have completed well over 500 sessions in my photography activities over the last 12 years. One of the greatest honors I have received was from Nikon in 2012, in having one of my images selected to be prominently displayed as their banner image for the month of December of that year.

I began by using a film SLR camera in 1988. I was not intent on becoming a professional at that time. However, I was fascinated by the process of making photographs and continued to develop more interest upon purchasing my first digital camera in 1999. From that moment, I knew I wanted to have photography as a career, but did not actually embark on becoming a professional until 2007. That is when I began to study and develop a more complete understanding of the profession. Although I did plenty of free work upon request, I did not actually start to receive payment for photographing events and sessions until 2011.

I am capable of doing many different types of photographic assignments. I am adaptable and easy to communicate with. My job is to make you look your best and I know the techniques and technical aspects of what I do to make it easy for me to accomplish that task. Ask plenty of questions. The more the better and the better the questions, the more you will get to know the photographer and your level of comfort with them and their work.
