Introduction

Needing a video produced? Ignite Productions & Entertainment is an award-winning production company offering services to fit your needs and budget. Our 5 star reviews say it all! Founded in 2012, Ignite Productions & Entertainment, LLC is an award winning company that is designed to produce a wide range of projects. Today, we offer our clients services for event production (wedding/anniversary/birthday parties/memorials), company image & testimonial videos, seminars, commercials, and explainer videos. We bid on a per project basis (with the exception of weddings) rather than a flat rate card and are very competitive in our market. This translates into savings for our clients. BACKGROUND In the corporate and marketing realm, founder James Willis served seven years at VideoPlus, Inc. (now Success Partners) where he moved through the ranks, eventually serving as producer/production coordinator of the Creative Services Department. There he worked with and assigned freelance producers & editors on testimonial and marketing projects, reviewed budgets, and scheduled the company's four Avid non-linear edit systems as well as its online editing suite. In addition to business video, Producer/director James has worked in entertainment and documentary production. His first indie feature film as producer/co-writer, "The Dreaded", was completed prior to his college graduation in 1990. Later, James wrote and produced the independent television pilot "West Texas Khaki", and served as the art director/location manager on the award winning indie feature film "Love Land". In 2019, his feature length documentary "Field of Valor: Air Activities of Texas" was released and he is currently producing his second historical documentary. Expanding his knowledge in the industry, James gained valuable experience on two major studio films, Paramount Pictures “Necessary Roughness” and Warner Bros. “Any Given Sunday” as a production assistant.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I usually bid by the project based on the client's needs and budget rather than by a flat rate card (except weddings.) This way I can often save the client money in the long run.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
1. Provide a basic estimate based on the information provided by the client through the Thumbtack.com service. 2. If the client shows an interest and wants to move forward I will schedule a phone or e-mail consultation with the potential client to get more detailed information about the video project. 3. Next, I will work up a detailed line item estimate (each service within the estimate broken down by its cost) based on the information provided. 4. Present the detailed line item estimate to the client via Thumbtack message or the client's e-mail for their review. 5. Answer any questions related to the estimate or project that the client may have. 6. Once a signed estimate is received and any payment terms are taken care of (deposits, initial payments) I will firm book the client's project.
