Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Every project has a different budget, due date, run time among other varying circumstances so cost will vary but I will break that down with you and come up with a solidified cost beforehand. If you need a revision, the first is free, but the second I will have to charge however I will let you know ahead of time what that will cost and do everything I can to keep the cost low.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Assessing the needs of the customer including budget is the first step. The best way to do that is to have a brief conversation over the phone or over email or text if that is preferred then I will give you a quote that will never exceed the maximum cost unless communicated ahead of time. After an assessment is created I will send over a digital contract and maintain communication with updates to the project accordingly. Once revisions are approved I will send out the final product once payment is received. I try to make this process as seamless and as easy as possible. I am always open to communication during the production as the process is a collaboration and a shared vision.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
BA in Film and Media Minor Certificate in Arts and Technology I have ten years of experience performing the entire video production process in a team and as an individual while working with Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Photoshop and a variety of other multimedia programs.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I started this line of work once I became interested in media in college and once I graduated I have focused on growing my skillsets.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have worked with clients in a variety of industries including beauty, fashion, health, education, essential oils, theater, philanthropy and a myriad of social media/website content.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
A recent project I worked on was for The McGillis School, an independent K-8 school here in Salt Lake City. The project was focused on providing donors an inside look at the school's values and the students they support; most especially students in need of tuition assistance and students who are in need of TLC services.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
I would strongly advise you understand what it is you are looking for. The clearer you know what you want, the better I can assess to get you what you need. Sometimes you don't know what you want and that is ok as well but have an idea or do some research on videos that you like. It is also important to understand how much goes into the video production process so please give some time to complete the project.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
What do I want the audience to take away from the final product? Is the end result meant to persuade, entertain, promote a service or product?
