Introduction

We come to you for private music lessons in your home! Our teachers are highly qualified. They all have music degrees or equivalent work experience, and they are positive and professional with their students. All of our teachers have passed a background check, and they have made it through an audition screen. We don't hire just anyone - we make sure they understand music theory, and and they are top notch players. Both male and female teachers may be available depending on location and the teacher's availability. Specific gender or age requests are not guaranteed.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Our rates are $40 dollars for 30 minutes, $55 dollars for 45 minutes and $70 dollars for an hour. This covers the cost of the lesson, and a $5 dollar fee is applied for resources used to get to your home.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We are thrilled to hear you want to work with us and join our music school. Once we hear from you, we will ask for your contract information (email and/or phone) and your scheduling needs. From there, we will reach out to our teachers and see who is available to accommodate your request. After we have booked the lesson, your teacher will arrive at your home during the designated time, and you will explore your inner musician!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Our teachers hold music degrees or equivalent work experience. They all pass an audition screen, and we make sure they are not only excellent players, but also educated in music theory and aural skills.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I have been a music teacher since 2003. I noticed a need in the market to connect talented players with students on both ends of the relationship. Parents want to know they're truly getting an expert if they themselves are not trained, and teachers often don't specialize in the marketing and administration work necessary for a small business owner. Traveling Music Lessons takes care of our students and teachers in ways that are highly beneficial to all parties.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We work with beginners, intermediate and advanced students of all levels, all instruments and all musical styles.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Traveling Music Lessons holds 4 recitals per year! We have 2 Winter and 2 Summer Recitals in the East and West Valley for our students convenience. Recitals are a great opportunity for students to show off what they've learned and get comfortable performing in front of an audience.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
I always recommend our students obtain their own instrument they can practice on at home. We are happy to work with you and make recommendations that fit your price range.
