Introduction

—> Check out our Instagram to see photos and videos from past (both in-person and online) lessons! Hi, my name is Shannon! I am the owner and a teacher at Creative Cultivation Studio, and I have seven wonderful teachers who also teach through my studio, as well as two extremely helpful admin staff. We build our lessons around each individual student, catering to what they need, and where we can help them build their skills the most. We do our best to avoid redundant, general lessons. Every person is different, and we want to ensure that they are learning as much as they can so they can become the best musician they can be.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
-30-minute lessons: $165/month -45-minute lessons: $200/month -60-minute lessons: $250/month -45-minute group piano lessons: $140/month We typically recommend starting with either 30-minute lessons or group lessons for beginners. If 30 minutes becomes too short of a time span to accomplish everything you/the student would like to get to, we can discuss increasing the lesson length. **Ask us about our AutoPay Discount of $10 off per month!**

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Before starting lessons, we need to know 3 simple things: -the student’s age -if the student has any musical experience (it’s completely fine if they don’t!), and if yes, do they already have a set of books they have been working through -if the student has access to an instrument to practice

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We offer a variety of lessons and classes, geared towards multiple ages groups: Ages 0-3: our parent-and-me music classes, Music Groups for Littles Ages 3.5-5: our preschool/kinder-age group piano classes, Piano Playtime Ages 6-17: our small group piano lessons, Accelerated Piano Program Ages 4 through adulthood: private 1-on-1 lessons Every student is different, and we recommend trying an introductory lesson to see if the student is ready to start taking regular lessons!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
-do you have access to an instrument? (Learning a musical instrument is 20% learning and 80% practice!) -do you have the time to commit to learning? (weekly 30-minute lessons + 10-30 minutes of practice per day = 2-4 hours per week) -what are your musical goals? (e.g., to play a particular piece, to learn to read music, to play at church, to learn the basics, just to have fun—any and all of these answers are fine! They just help the teacher understand what you want to get out of lessons)
