Introduction

Looking for in-person lessons? We are proud to announce that we are starting them again! However, if you have gotten used to rolling out of bed and turning zoom on for lessons, we still offer this as well! My love for music started from a very young age. Starting to play piano at the age of 6 was what got me hooked. I have been playing, writing and singing ever since, even taking my music passion to Florida Atlantic University where I received my Bachelors of Music. My passion has continued on into forms of songwriting and teaching. Having over 20 years experience in piano and over 10 years of vocal and guitar performance experience. This includes having a teaching studio for over 2 years.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We have a first meeting where we would discuss a few things... - It is preferred this meeting be held over zoom, however, in-person first meetings can be accommodated - What the student's goals are for learning their instrument - Give our insight, present goals we would like them to accomplish - If both parties feel it to be a fit, we would schedule a first lesson time and day!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

- Have completed a series of my own songs that are on all music platforms - Bachelors Degree in Piano Performance from Florida Atlantic University - Played in over 3 bands - Been teaching private music lessons, groups lessons and playing events for over 4 years - Was lead vocal for a band and performed in front of thousands of people at events - Over 25 years experience with piano - Over 15 years experience with voice - Over 17 years experience with guitar

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I've always loved music and everything that relates to it. I tended to gravitated to the creation of my own music as well as music performance, but when one of my friends suggested teaching, I tried it out! I found I really liked it and built a full-time business around it.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with children, high school age, college students and young professionals.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I wrote a new single that I am happy to announce is coming out in August! The whole process will take around 3 months.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Always have a meeting with the potential teacher. Have a face to face conversation so you can see if you like them, and hear more about how the lesson will go. If everything checks out, schedule a weekly day and time to start!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

1) Their own goals - "what do I want out of this?" 2) Time - "how much time will I have to practice to achieve my goals?" 3) Finances - "how much money do I have to continue getting the lessons I need?"
