What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

At the first lesson, I will ask you to tell me a little bit about your own goals and musical interests. From there I will select the best quality materials for you and you will know what to expect from every lesson, as well as what to practice during the week.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I'm an experienced stage performer in both voice and piano with a bachelor's degree in music education and a master's in education. I've been performing with a local band for the last 10 years!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure that you hire a music teacher who has a college music degree, who can explain techniques in many effective ways. Hire a music teacher who is warm and makes you feel at ease!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Will this music teacher remember my progress and help me build upon it from week to week? Is this person a trained musician with a college music degree? Can this person sing well and explain concepts in a clear and concise way?
