Introduction

I really know how to make people understand the instrument. I have a unique gift in explaining complex concepts in simple ways. Please watch the video in this posting that shows you the way I play. This will be all you need to know that I have the ability to take you where you want to go on the guitar.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
My pricing is $60/hour and for guitar and $70/hr for voice.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Just go to my online calendar and book a lesson time that works with your schedule. Go to my website and click "BOOK A LESSON" and fill out the information and pay on that platform. Immediately you will receive a confirmation email and you will also get an automated reminder email and text message 24 hours prior to your booking.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
34 years of playing and 18 years of full time teaching.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I got hired by Mars Music to be their guitar instructor in 2002. I have continued with teaching full time ever since! It’s been a blast working with people and helping them fulfill their dreams!

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Most students want me to teach them how to play. Beginners often want to become able to learn to play songs on their own. More advanced students tend to want to know how to improvise and understand the fretboard.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I had to train a student to get ready to sing for “The Voice” audition. I helped her pick out a song that makes her shine and she worked hard. I taught her to sing it with confidence and control. Another student wanted to learn to play in a band after tinkering for years. I taught him all the fundamentals of rhythmn and groove and taught him how to improvise and come up with his own ideas. Also I taught him how to follow the band and interact with other musicians. Now he plays out all the time!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Make sure you like the way your guitar teacher plays the guitar! Also it is important to find a guitar teacher that is personable to you. You have to feel comfortable with your teacher to be able to be receptive of what your teacher has to offer.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Can I afford lessons? Will I commit my time consistent to achieve my goals? What would I be willing to give up in order to achieve my goals in music?
