Introduction

Ryan has been involved in music from an early age. He completed his Bachelor of Music at Grace Bible College and currently writes and records his own music as well as produces music for others. He performs at open mic nights, weddings, and at concerts. In addition, Ryan is a church worship leader. If you need Ryan to lead music for your special event, feel free to reach out, as he knows how to play a broad variety of genres, from rock to country, to wedding and Christmas music; from church music to singer-songwriter songs. Ryan has been teaching music lessons professionally since 2015 and he teaches voice, guitar, and ukulele lessons. He likes to encourage his students to truly learn how music works, asking them questions to help them recall and absorb the knowledge they have gained. Most of all, Ryan helps his students to believe in themselves – to truly know that they can learn and become an excellent musician, one step at a time.

Q&A

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Music is practically the air I breathe. As I've grown in music, it has only been natural to help others to hone their own craft. I want people to see that it is possible to excel, even if you start with next to nothing.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
All kinds. Young people, older people... It seems that everyone has music inside of them somewhere. Perhaps one person needs singing lessons and another person needs to record a song they wrote, while yet another person just wants to express themselves better onstage. In any of these scenarios and more, I am willing and able to help.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Make sure you work with somebody you connect with. Whether you're looking for lessons, studio time, or development as an artist, you need to find someone who understands you. I once worked with an artist developer in Nashville who did not understand my music, and the result was terribly disappointing. He was trying to turn me into something I'm not. As you're looking for someone to help you express the music inside of you, find someone who resonates with your vision; someone who makes you comfortable and confident, yet also pushes you to greatness you couldn't have attained on your own.
