Introduction

We are Music Legacies, an academy of music here in Pembroke Pines, FL. Currently we have six teachers, we teach Piano, Guitar, Drums, Violin, Cello, Clarinet, Sax and Vocals. We teach out of our location as well as online for those that would like online lessons, from the comfort of their home! Myself the founder, Rj, have been teaching for 11 years and I love every minute of it. I have a bachelors in Commercial Music Business from Florida Atlantic University. There is a joy in seeing someone grow in music, to understand how it works, and how to create such beautiful sounds themselves. My goal has always been to take you to where you want to be regarding music. If you or your child wants to learn music, I guarantee you we can do it, and we will have fun while we learn!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

$30 for half hour, $45 for 45 min, and $60 for the hour.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Regarding Piano, we learn scales and how to read first. After that we begin playing songs from our piano books.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I took 11 years of lesson in piano, and then went to college and studied Commercial Music Business, with a concentration in piano. I graduated with my Bachelors in August 2018. I have been teaching for five years.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started my senior year of high school, because some parents I knew had asked if I could teach their daughters. Ever since I fell in love seeing kids learn and succeed in music.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with students from the age of 5 all the way up to the age of 70. I have worked with very focused students as well as very distracted students. All have potential and all have been a fun time.
