Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Our lessons range in between $55 to $65 an hour for most sessions. Flat rates are available for recording projects and are determined by the scale of the project.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Our first session is spent getting to the know the client and what they are looking to get out of the sessions after that we turn our focus to creating an individual plan using specialized techniques to bring that plan to fruition.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have over thirty years of experience in the music and entertainment business as a touring musician and have been helping artists with their vocals and performance in the studio and while on tour since 2000. Prior to that, I majored in acting and music at Salisbury University in Maryland. I have personally performed over 5,000 live shows and have techniques that have allowed myself and my clients to find their voice, take it to the next level and how to maintain a sense of calm under stressful situations.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I started by helping musician friends who needed help hitting notes for recordings while I was in Los Angeles in 1999. In 2005 I was asked by a Performing Arts Center to teach Vocal, Acting and Guitar lessons to young people attending the center. 2013 through 2017 I was asked to lead the Vocal and Music department at a Charter High School. I noticed some individuals really needed extra one and one attention so I began the one on one private lessons to help those individuals.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have worked with beginners, professionals, and everyone in between. I have worked with young children and teenagers to help them find their voice and gain the confidence to perform in front of people, I worked with people who wanted to sing better in church. I have helped a person with autism who had vocal impairments to start to speak more frequently and clearly. I have helped a dentist learn how to speak more clearly through his accent to his patients. I have worked with a transitioning person to help them find their female voice. It’s really about each individual and their needs.
