Introduction

At Belcanto VMS, we focus primarily on teaching voice, cello, and musical theatre. Our studio facilitates online music counseling and individual lessons for beginner to advance level musicians and vocalists. All lessons take place in our living room studio, which we find povides our students with a comfortable, relaxed environment. It is ultimately our vision to provide holistic training to our students, which will simultaneously allow them to hone their crafts and diversify their artistry.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

First lesson is a consultation type of a meeting where we get to know each other and see if our energies aline well. At this time we also try few exercises to determinate their level, issues they are dealing with and offer some solutions to the problems. We set up a short and long term goals and plan for a semester and work through feedbacks and scheduling fro upcoming period.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

A degree from University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, Austria (KUG), over 10 years experience in teaching and preparing clients for major competitions in US and around the world, performances with professional music companies.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started singing in professional productions in Europe and USA and simultaneously started teaching music lessons to both kids and adults.

What types of customers have you worked with?

K-12, collage students, young adults and adults.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Schedule the consultation, see how you like your instructors energy and work style before you commit. There is a plenty of options out there and the right match is an absolute must for student to grow and get better.
