Sunburst School of Music has been helping kids and adults get started with music and take their playing to the next level since 2011. Whether your goal is to play in a band, write songs, perform on stage, or just learn your favorites for fun, our patient and experienced instructors will work with you on a course of study to get you where you want to go in the world of music In our studio in the heart of Squirrel Hill we offer lessons for guitar, bass, drums, piano, voice (singing), ukulele and music production as well as group programs and performance opportunities. We have friendly, experienced, patient, qualified and fun instructors for all of our instruments. Our teachers all have either university training or professional performance experience and are here to help you take your playing to the next level. Taking lessons should be fun and all of our instructors love sharing their passion with you and helping you discover yours. We offer a variety of group programming including rock bands, a kids music exploration class, an a capella group and semi private lessons. All students are invited and encouraged to perform in our free seasonal recital concerts. Our studio is open 7 days per week to fit your busy schedule. Come visit our 3000 square foot studio, spacious waiting room, concert stage and in house recording facilities and let our friendly office staff get you started on your musical journey.
