Introduction

My name is Jaime Davis. At age 13 I started teaching piano lessons. Now, 28 years later, it is still my passion and my studio has grown. The studio is located in NE Orem. It is a brand new addition on the side of our home, with 3 separate teaching rooms, a waiting area, and bathroom. We have tried to think of everything to make students feel successful, comfortable, casual, but professional. Lessons offered at the studio include: Piano Voice Violin Viola Guitar Ukulele Flute Clarinet Saxophone Trumpet I have male and female teachers with loads of experience, passion, fun and flexibility! We are a very diverse group and are equipped to teach any level of learner. Several of my teachers are bilingual. I try to make sure each student is matched with the best teacher for them. At our studio, we run programs that includes weekly lessons, prizes, master classes, competitions, and recitals. We can teach lessons in studio, remote, or in your own home. I provide multiple student or multiple instrument discounts. Also, no need to wait for multiple students to be taught consecutively. We are able to teach up to three lessons simultaneously in different rooms. Come see our studio and take a free trial lesson.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We are very reasonably priced. I want music lessons to be affordable to all who are interested.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We setup your free trial lesson to see if it's a good fit - both for you and your teacher. Then from there you both decide if you want to continue. No pressure, we want people that are excited to take lessons.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Each teacher has various degrees of college education relating to music but all have teaching experience and excel at the instrument they are teaching.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Teaching piano lessons as a teenager and I've loved it ever since then (still teaching 24 years later)!

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Customers from all walks of life! Ages ranging from 4-70+, beginner - advanced. I even have teachers that specialize in teaching students with learning disabilities and find that a lot of times, they excel when it comes to music lessons!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Prepping for recitals, festivals, master classes are always so rewarding when students perform and get to see their hard work pay off.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Ask for a free trial lesson first. You'll want to see the studio, meet your teacher, and ask lots of questions.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Interview your teacher, make sure it is a good fit. Ask yourself, do I have the time to practice consistently between lessons? Be open with your questions and concerns. We will always give honest answers, even if we don't get your business.
