Introduction

Hello, Tired of your clothes or not sure how to match them? I can help you! I pivoted a few years back to become a sustainable stylist after working on film sets for a decade - and seeing all the waste and overuse of fast fashion. I live and work in San Francisco, but grew up in France, where style is transmitted from generations to generations. I learnt from my mom and both my grandmothers to put together outfits, how a good fit and fabrics work, and how to care for my clothes. That is what you will get from me. But not only! I empower clients by guiding them to build a wardrobe that looks and feels good for them. I prefer working in person but can do some remote work if need be! I offer a variety of options to suit the needs of busy individuals, mums, entrepreneurs, and people like you. Hope we can meet soon!

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I work with packages. If none of the packages work, we can figure something out.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Free intro call when we decide we get along (maybe it is not a good fit and it is ok !) My customer decides which package fits their needs and budget , or if they want to work on a specific hourly project. Overall, my clients learns about sustainability, and preloved clothes. They get confident about their styles.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I worked for 10+ years on TV shows as a costume stylist and wardrobe supervisor, with the occasional fashion week / fashion house advert and photo shoot for good measure. I earned a degree in Costume Design from the Arts University of Bournemouth in the United Kingdom. Most importantly, before San Francisco I lived in Paris for 10 years where I developed a sharp instinct for European street style and spent much time in vintage and secondhand stores.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Tired of the entertainment industry's wasteful excess and fast-fashion tendencies and excited about the sunny shores of California, I moved to San Francisco with my family with the intent of promoting slow fashion through helping people dress better with less. While I sometimes find the Bay Area to be a bit TOO casual :-), I think there's a unique look that can be created here, a mix of savvy European savvy and laid-back California.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Neat and Kind is an all inclusive business. I welcome any customers who want to make a change!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Each project is different. In general I appreciate to help people accept their bodies and dress accordingly to their silhouettes. Always proud of my customers that embrace their uniqueness!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Be open to new ideas. Give feedback to the stylist; it is a conversation and a collaboration (you will work as well) Have fun!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
What do I want from this wardrobe consulting session? When did I get compliments about my outfits? What do I like about my look?
