Introduction

Why learn with me? Because I care, and because I have so much to offer. Custom Lesson Plans Recordings of your lessons E-Practice folder (diagrams, audio/video, exercises, etc.) Basics and Foundations Technique/Skill  Advanced Theory Fretboard Navigation Songwriting Recording Methods Equipment/Gear knowledge Continuous Student Support When I take on a new student I create a custom lesson plan tailored to you and your needs using a methodology I’ve developed over the years. Not only that, but I offer so much more outside of the lesson itself! Sadly I still hear stories of musicians being frustrated with progress or feeling discouraged to continue. Whether you’re just starting out, or you’re looking to break that plateau I am here to help!  HOW TO GET STARTED: Shoot me a message and we’ll set up a time to talk about your goals and answer any questions you have. Generally a 10m conversation helps us figure out the best steps to take! I’m quick to respond and I’m generally available to talk!  I look forward to hearing from you!

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
60min: $50 I have a variable pricing structure based off of what you’re willing to commit to. Weekly, monthly, and quarterly payments are available and are all setup to make your experience as seamless as possible.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
The first step is to have an open conversation about what your goals and needs are. I'll discuss how I like to approach our lessons based on your current skill level and adjust regularly to ensure we're always on the right track. I'm a firm believer in communication, so I often ask for feedback and opinions of how I'm doing and how your progress is coming along.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I've played music my whole life, more or less. I played in an orchestra for many years and learned music theory/composition. I began to play guitar over 10 years ago and have put in thousands of practice hours, earning my experience in technique and theory.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I've always gravitated towards being a teacher. Being able to share the gift of music, as cheesy as that sounds, is a wonderful thing. I consider myself lucky to have that ability. I love to see my students grow, develop, and succeed!

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We work with all ages and skill levels. Currently I've got a few kids under 7 and also a few adults over 50! It's never too early or late to start so long as you have the desire to learn.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
This is general, but I see my students show an incredible amount of growth within the first few months alone, and those that continue under my guidance keep on raising their skill level and knowledge. I create custom lesson plans for everyone, and I'm confident in finding success with my students.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Make sure your instructor can both demonstrate and instruct. That should go without saying, but you'd be surprised how many people out there only "kinda" know what they're talking about. Find someone who is passionate and cares about your progress. (ME!) Also, not all students and teachers are created equal. If you're looking to learn jazz you shouldn't find a heavy metal instructor. Find the right fit!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Does this person know what I want to learn? Can they explain, demonstrate, and teach the subjects? Does this person actually care about your progress? Does this person have the experience to teach proficiently? Does this person have positive reviews displaying their success? Does this person have good customer service and loyalty?
