Introduction

We are an emerging luxury fashion brand that has been featured in Vogue, Bazaar, Marie Claire and others focused on custom looks and designs. We design for celebrities, business people and anyone looking to make a statement and be unapologetically themselves. Our production is small to focus on details, all with high-end materials and sewn by hand. WE DO NOT USE FABRICS UOU ALREADY HAVE. We cannot guarantee the quality without souring the fabrics with our trusted suppliers. Because if this high-end craftsmanship we typically start pricing at $600 for say a basic dress. A formal gown/dress starts at around $1,200, and if you are looking for some wardrobe essentials we can potentially package a few items starting at $600 but we do not do jobs less than this because of our high-touch experience.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Our garments are handmade so volume does not cut down on time. However, for large orders or multiple of the same pattern we will certainly entertain reasonable adjustments.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We like to get to know our customers lifestyle, preferences and goals. Our initial consultation is a lot of getting to know each other. We talk about inspirations and designs then we take measurements and build prototypes for fitting before delivering the final garments.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have been classically trained at Parson’s School of Design in New York.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I have always been a drawer and creative type sketching looks etc but never thought about this career path. I was headed down the pre-med path and my partner said why aren’t you a fashion designer? The rest is history.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We have worked with celebrities, business executives, influencers and many others. We work with people who want to make a statement and be unapologeticly themselves.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We did a custom design for an on-air TV personality and his fiancé’s wedding. It was a pleasure being asked to do this. We travelled between NYC and Miami for each step of the process from designs, taking measurements, prototype fittings and finally the final delivery. From start to finish the project took about 2.5 months. Travel and scheduling were a factor in the time here as well.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Look for an artist that speaks to you and takes the time to understand what you want. If your ideas compliment each other you have found the right person.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
I think it is important to have a sense of what you like and don’t like as well as what makes you feel confident. Ask about the process, the timing and talk budget. If you have numbers in mind it’s best to be upfront. With custom clothing the price can vary to extremes based on the fabrics and design complexity so it’s good to know the limit up front.
