Introduction

Hi! I've been involved in the fashion industry in NYC & the DMV for 20+ years, specifically personal styling and consulting the last 10. I have a passion for styling people of all shapes and sizes from all walks of life because everyone deserves to feel and look their best - with minimal effort. I've had the joy of styling men and women and the privilege of working with the Transgender community. I offer a variety of special skills including but not limited to color analysis, wardrobe audits based on season (Spring/Summer, Fall/Winter), shop in person or virtual for or with a client and style clients to introduce them to their elevated self! My promise is that you'll have fun, understand your body shape & what garments are complimentary and that you feel empowered to view your wardrobe knowing that YOU can create additional outfits without second guessing yourself!!

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
All pricing is listed on the services page on my website. I offer one on one color analyses' at $200 per person as well as parties (Bachelorette, Bachelor, Team Building etc) ranging in groups of 5 ($800), 10 ($1600) or 15 ($2400) people. If the number in your party isn't shown, please don't hesitate to reach out for additional pricing!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
A client must complete an easy 10 question questionnaire and then we have a follow up conversation via Zoom or phone, to better understand how I can serve you. After our conversation you're sent an email recapping what was discussed, along with the nitty gritty admin stuff, as well as a further explanation of your goals and how you're going to feel after we get your style to that elevated version of yourself!! Once we've ironed out the admin details, you're sent a VERY detailed email with all the in's and out's of your package. You're never in the dark about what to expect and what next steps look like. Think of that email like your guidebook for our time together! The abbreviated version for my styling process is always a color analysis, style discovery chat plus a deep dive into your fashion mood board, access to your very own virtual closet (for life), a wardrobe audit based on the season you'd like to work (Spring/Summer OR Fall/Winter), then shopping in person or virtually with or without you, then I get to create your looks using what's already in their wardrobe and what we've shopped! Lots of fun, educational information (so you understand how to style yourself - if you want) and confidence here we come! *Note - the process may vary based on the package selected*

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Received Image Consulting Certification from the Fashion Institute of New York Received Color Analysis Certification from Dominique Isbecque and Fashion Institute of New York

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Almost two decades ago, I ceased an opportunity to work for one of the top ten-luxury retailers in the world. Seeing the fashion firsthand and how beautiful it was, paled in comparison to watching clients’ awe-inspiring transformation with just the right garment, color, or fit. Showing someone how to unite their inner self with the outward style they desire, turned into a passion. My ability to understand, connect and build lasting relationships with those I serve has played an integral part to everyone’s success.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have worked with Men, Women and the Transgender Community. All of their careers vary from C-Suite Executives, Medical Professionals, Government contractors/officials & Retirees

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I completed work with a client based in CA who finished their three month package, but wanted to continue services specifically for events and occasions they had coming up at the end of the year. I LOVED being able to tap into their style & virtual closet to look for pieces I KNEW they'd love, feel confident and comfortable in. This package lasted three months and was so much fun and super easy!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Make sure the stylist/consultant has prepared questions for you to answer about your image and what you're looking to accomplish. If they don't ask questions how are they supposed to help YOU?!! Ask your own set of question and listen to hear if they are able to articulate what YOU are looking for in your style. Go with your gut - if you don't get a "HECK YEAH!!" feeling from the person, do not work with them. There's nothing worse than investing in someone else who isn't energetically invested in you.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Are you ready to let go of past tendencies and set time aside for yourself to embrace the elevated 2.0 version of you and your style?
