WGC, Weather Guard is one of Georgia’s Oldest Waterproofing Companies. Our team has over 30 years of experience for all your foundation needs. We pride ourselves on solving all your waterproofing, drainage, and structural issues that occur when either being a homeowner, home remodeler, a property management professional, or a home builder. At Weather Guard, we we take time to educate our customers of how and why the issue occurred and give to proper solution for the repair at hand. WGC-TCB will not just come to your home to give one big sales pitch with a long boring presentation. We do not want to waste your time, we want to give you the solution for the repair so you can get on with a stress free life! At Weather Guard we will “work the problem backwards” in other words, we only want our customer’s to invest their money in repairing issue at hand instead of selling you a bigger job than what is needed for your repair. We provide our customers with all the pros and cons on different options available so they able to make a more educated decision on the way they want to do the to repair. We could not survive without all the thousands of satisfied customers and we look forward to working with you in a mutually satisfying relationship!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We are not a typical company with standard costs and rates. Our repairs are customized by the type of repair needed, in which, our costs are customized by the type of repair we do.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

The company WGC-TCB formally known as “Weather Guard Contractors” was founded by Robert Duffy in 1992. He started learning waterproofing by working for one of the biggest commercial waterproofing companies in the SE, Western Waterproofing. After a few years of learning the business, he decided to open his own residential and commercial waterproofing company. His expertise and knowledge awarded him many high profiled jobs. Including the Westin Hotel Downtown, Emory University, Grady Hospital, Cheesecake Factory, CDC of Atlanta, Life University, Cartersville Hospital, Public Storage Facilities, Marietta Square, Gone with the Wind Building, Kennestone Hospital and many many more. He dedicated his life to this industry. He loved to share his expertise and knowledge of waterproofing with all his customers, family, and friends. He sadly passed away in December of 2016. I am Angelique Duffy, the wife of Robert Duffy. After, my husband passed, I decided to dedicate my life to continue to run the business instead of selling. I wanted to continue his legacy by providing customers (new and existing) with the same integrity, quality, and to ensure the same outstanding customer service he has always given throughout his career. What types of customers have you worked with?

We work with all residential and commercial customers…from builders (new construction), home owners and remodelers, home renovation companies, Duplexes and Condominiums Property Management Companies, HOA’s, and etc..

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Two projects we recently just did.. was waterproof a basement foundation and fixed a “dipping” subfloor -bringing them back to level and making sure they are strong and stabilized

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Always make sure any company you hire can provide their insurance with references.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Ask your professional contractor why and how the problem occurred?
