Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Xactimate dictates our industry in pricing; however we are constantly offering discounts and coupons. We’re willing to beat any of our competitor’s prices in order to get your business. We guarantee that we will beat any of water removal or mold removal company in Cincinnati, Dayton, NKY and Louisville. You must have a written quote from another company in order to get this guarantee. If you have further questions please contact us!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We provide moisture and mold inspections with all of our homeowners and business owners. There is an inspection fee of $25. If the customer chooses to use our company the inspection fee will be deducted from the total. Once we have had an opportunity to provide an onsite inspection and proposal to our client we will come to agreed upon terms. We welcome our clients to get other proposals to compare against ours, if a competitor would have a lower price we guarantee to beat the competitors price!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
As an IICRC technician you are required by the organization to attend CEC throughout the year to continue to have a valid certification. All of our employees remain accredited and educated into new certifications to broaden their skills and capabilities to provide a better service. Including ACAC which validates not only we have significant field experience, but the college degree as well. One must pass a rigorous test and continue to demonstrate their capabilities.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
It all began in my attic as a dream. And lots of determination. It has evolved in the past 7 years into an operation that can not only handle residential projects, but commercial too. The employees are seen as family which I think has resulted in our current 5-star reputation. Because my employees care as much as I personally do. We live, shop and work in the community we love. The last thing we want to do is to pass an unsatisfied customer in the shopping line. We strive for excellent service. Our highly trained technician and entire staff are able to provide our customers with the fastest and most efficient processes. Therefore, saving you not only time, but money. But don't take it from us. Check out some of our raving reviews!

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We most commonly help our clients recover from water and mold damage though we are equipped to handle restoration claims such as fire loss, odor removal, hoarding, and duct cleaning.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Our Columbus project manager called me and stated, "You'll never believe this customer X called me last night crying." My first thoughts were Oh no!, what did we do?, how can we resolve this?. He continued, "She was crying me thanking me. Her father was finally able to after years breath at night without his oxygen tank." It is at moments like this that my employees and myself truly enjoy the profession.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
General contractors and handymen may be seen as a more cost effective solution, but they are not always educated or armed with the necessary equipment to properly remediate the structure that could contain potential mold, sewage or hazardous debris which ultimately will put your family at risk. Only companies with the training and experience have the skilled techniques available to properly dry out your property. IICRC certified technicians and firms have been recognized by the IICRC for their education and training by professionals in the field- It is imperative you request for their licensing, certifications and insurance from the companies you are considering.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
1. Have you checked out their ratings, certificates (IICRC.org & ACAC.org), BBB, Insurance, Worker's Comp? Get copies! 2. What are you trying to achieve? Do they provide that expertise? 3. How will you be paying? Need financing? Seek out those that offer financing. 4. Timeline. Can you live without the room for at least a week if not longer for work to be completed? Or do you need to relocate for that time being? 5. Chemical sensitivity? Ensure you are aware of the type of chemicals that may be used.
