What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Pricing cannot be determined without visiting the structure. Each property is unique. There are obstacles on one property that might not effect another property. Typically price can be given onsite during the initial evaluation.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We schedule a FREE initial evaluation and the Structural Analyst meets with them personally to determine their needs. He then guides them through the process of repairs, if needed.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Our owner has an Engineering degree from Texas A&M. All analysts are trained in Engineering methods of evaluating houses. On going training for all departments is crucial to our success. Our employees tenure is important to us and many employees have been here long term.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

The Owner, Tom Kidd, worked for another foundation repair company in the Metroplex. He felt the industry was generally disreputable and the Metroplex needed an honest foundation repair company. He formed Structured, along with Ops Mgr, Heidi Morrison, in 2003.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Structured works with all types of customers. We have the proper insurance and reputation to work with all types of contracts. We work with Homeowners, Sellers, Buyers, Real Estate Agents, Banks, Investors, Contractors, Insurance Companies, etc.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

The average project usually takes 1-2 days and can be scheduled with 1-3 months from the date of the initial evaluation. All our projects are different and contacting the office for questions/concerns is the best method when jobs are time sensitive or have special scope.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

As the companies the following questions: Are your workers covered by Workers Compensation Insurance for my protection? Are the Engineers/Plumbers you work with independently licensed? Will all the proper permitting be handled by the company for my project?

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

What is your desired outcome/expectations? How quickly are you wanting to move forward on your project? How important is quality/ethics versus price?
