GennieBee Catering is more than your regular catering service. We have a team of highly trained servers, bartenders, cooks and one amazing chef. We will work with you to customize a menu that fits the needs of your event. We focus on providing a quality product and making every dining experience memorable! From Chef Denise-I am a Chef from Kansas who grow up in Alabama and Arkansas. I graduated from Cerritos College with two Culinary arts degrees and a degree in Small Business Management. I am the Chapter President for the National Black Chefs Association in Southern California. I have worked with several celebrity Chef’s including Michelle Berstein, Stephanie Izard, Ludo Lefebvre and Suzanne Goin. Chef Denise offers a variety of superb services and mouth-watering menus. My many years of experience in business have help me develop a unique business catered, literally, to every clients, taste or need. So whether you’re planning a special dinner for two, a wedding party for 300, or simply need a break from the kitchen- Chef Denise is the Catering + Chef you need!!! Most of all I prepare every dish with a secret ingredient called love!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I usually speak with the customer to get an idea of the theme for the event. I also like to know the customers likes, dislikes, food allergies, and whether there will be any vegan or vegetarian options needed. I then make a customized menu to fit the need’s of the event.
