What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

There will be no surprises. I typically will look up the costs of supplies and materials then charge a very fair rate for my labor. I typically am less expensive than my peers

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Phone greeting. talk about the work requested to be done. ask for a timeline if a quote and research needs to be done (typically an hour to 3 hours). Set the date. confirm the day before. take care of your needs.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I was full time in the paint and handy man trade for 10 years before running Targets and Walmarts. I have remodeled and done hundreds of projects that are home related for the last 20 years.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Cleaning grills was something that I stumbled across from a provider that is on the east coast. he has been doing it for over 12 years and that caught my attention. I get to work in your beautiful back yards for 4 -5 hours providing a needed service that you typically do not want to do....Clean a filthy Grill!. The health and food quality benefits are eye opening. Not to mention preventing rodent visitation.

What types of customers have you worked with?

All types. There are no two alike. Most have the resources to pay for a grill cleaning and understand the benefits of a clean and healthy grill.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

My recent service was a Newport Beach resident who just purchased his home but the grill was full of char and spiderwebs. he not only loved the clean grill but also had me power wash the Island and surrounding patio with fire pit that had mold and dirt build up. at the end I helped him for no charge to put together his deck box. to a total of 7.5 hours start to finish.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Expect a relationship I provide a well discounted price after the initial cleaning for year around service. If an annual service is all that you want that is ok too. When services are needed for part replacements, it should not cost an arm and a leg. the cost of the part should be distinguished from the labor charge.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Serving you is an honor and an opportunity. The cost of service should be competitive. If there is "anything" else you might want done, talk about it ahead of time so that the cost will be much more value added. Travel is not cheap.
