Introduction

ONLY THUMBTACK CATERER WITH 100% FIVE STAR REVIEWS! It's all about the flavor, presentation and above all, customer service. I take the time to listen to my clients' needs and to respond accordingly. People appreciate that special touch and quick response. In addition, Bacco employs classically trained chefs that know how to work with food on a professional level, along with great creativity -not waiters who "pose" as chefs, There is a huge difference! I would have to say being a part of those special "once in a lifetime" moments. Sharing wedding days, milestone birthdays and other special occasions gives myself and my staff a lot of personal satisfaction. Just knowing you have helped to make someone's celebration memorable makes everything worthwhile.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We are happy to work within budgets, but clients should always be up front about what they’d like to spend since everything is customized—food, staffing, beverage and rentals should all be considered within your target budget.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
After the potential client responds to a series of questions and expresses interest in our services, we move forward with a proposal and relative menu options. Once they examine the customized information, we follow up with a conversation to clear up any questions that may remain. At that point, once the client decides if we are the right fit, we move forward with all the rest 😊

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Grand Diplome from The French Culinary Institute, now known as International Culinary Center in Manhattan. Prior to a formal degree, established a catering company in Rome, Italy with primarily clientele from the American Embassy. Worked in numerous high end reputable restaurants in Manhattan and received rave reviews, as well as a wealth of experience in catering and food styling.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
My lifetime love of food and celebrations lead me here. Especially my time living abroad in Italy. That is where I acquired my sincere appreciation of seasonality, bursting flavors and beautiful moments.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Bacco Catered Events does everything, from cocktail parties with signature seasonal hors d'oeuvres to sit down weddings and luncheon and dinner buffets, as well as small intimate seated dinners for business and pleasure. Whatever the occasion, we customize our menus to fit your vision and budget.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
On Valentine's day, we created a beautiful sit down menu for an all ladies luncheon --small plates--all with something red or something "romantic" on the plate--so creative and so wonderful that all the ladies were cheering at the end. A great moment!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Make sure that you feel comfortable with your caterer. You should be able to express what you would like at your event, without feeling intimidated or uneasy. At the same time, you should listen to their advice as well--sometimes logistical and practical details can dictate the direction of your catered event.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
I wish they knew how honest I am, and just how much pride I take in my work and in making them happy both with the cuisine and the service.
