What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I get maximum background about the event and people in attendance and prepare accordingly.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I teach a standup comedy class. The teacher learns twice?

How did you get started doing this type of work?

While syndicating my cartoon "Snapshots," I used to write freelance jokes for celebrity acts. I suppose the transition was inevitable.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I work mostly in comedy clubs but perform also for corporate, cruises, charities, and private parties.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Proud is a big word, but I enjoyed the Cabo Comedy Festival, where I placed second. First place got a spot on NBC, not that I'm dwelling.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Always watch video of the comic. Video never lies.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Some people have had bad standup-comedy experiences. I wish that clients could see what comedy looks like when it goes well. It's like no other live-entertainment experience.
