What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I try to keep everything simple in terms of pricing a show. My price for a 30 minute children's birthday party show starts at $275.00

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

The client contacts me & asks about availability & pricing. If I'm available for the desired date & time, I go over pricing information. If the client then would like to book me, I give them a confirmation email & let them know they're all set. I reconfirm the day before the show & arrive 30 minutes prior to set up.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Like anyone passionate about their art I never stop learning & working on new tricks. My audiences deserve the best.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I became interested in magic as a child when my brother recieved a magic set. Not long after I was performing birthday party shows & became the hit of the neighborhood.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I perform for kids birthdays, adult parties & corporate events. I even created a special illusion for a couple to levitate at their wedding in France. Everyday is a new challenge.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I was hired to perform for a client's 70th birthday dinner. They were a great audience & as I was leaving, the client asked me to perform for their 80th birthday in 10 years.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Be realistic about when you'd like the show to start. I'm often asked to wait for late arriving audiences. Sometimes that's possible & sometimes, because of another booking it isn't.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

The art of magic is about surprise and wonder. It leads to laughter, to participation, and amazement. There's nothing better suited to a celebration, and in the hands of a good magician, no performance that can be so well tuned to your audience.
