Introduction

Party and Event Magician. I have been performing for many years, TV, including schools, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Clubs, etc. Member of IBM ring in Irvine, CA. I bring in comedy, and fun. I engage with the audience to provide an amazing show. I can also include making balloon animals for parties (extra cost).

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I can do a 45 minute to hour show. Pricing starts at $150. Additional cost depends on location, and size of show. Balloon animals/ balloon twisting is available depending on size of audience and time requested.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I listen to the customer on finding out their requirements, size of show participants, length, location, age, and other special requirements. I ask if the event is indoors or outdoors, lighting, and sound.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians (IBM) for over 20 years. I belong to local chapter of IBM ring. I have performed numerous events, schools, venues, and birthdays over the years, Hold a Masters in Psychology and a certificate in Parapsychology - Rhine. Working toward performing at Magic Castle in LA.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

My brother and I started doing magic as teenagers, took magic lessons, joined a local magic club in the Midwest. We started performing numerous events over the years.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Scouting, churches, High School, College, birthday parties, etc. Audience from small groups to large auditoriums. Senior facilities, outreach associations, churches.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I recently performed at a local senior center in Long Beach. It was a half hour show. There were about 100 people in attendance. The stage was great, allowing good visibility for everyone. They had a great time.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask the level of experience of the magician, from variety of acts, ages of audience, and other special achievements. Ask what type of magic do they do, i.e. Close up magic, stage, illusion, etc.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Determine budget, length of show, number of people, and location. Measure up venue with performance.
