Introduction

My first two years living here in Colorado performing magic has been amazing. I've been able to do shows for a variety of wonderful people (I even performed for the Coors family reunion of 300 strong at the Buffalo rose in Golden!) So meeting people and getting to know the folks in their area is an extra perk and every show is outrageously non-stop fun. I am a comedy magician for all occasions. I do magic in the format of walk around, strolling, parlor, kids and adult parties ,festivals and stage. I provide magic for all ages while offering competitive and affordable prices. My magic is presented through the art of traditional and modern routines, sleight of hand, mentalism as well as an assortment of other "tricks" that bring meaningful impossibilities to the table.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
My prices are very affordable for a satisfying magical experience. I have a stage show that includes music and comedy. With the current situation at hand we can always talk discounts or special fees.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I want the customer to know who I am. When we have a conversation I am open and honest and very flexible to their demands. I will give a description of the magic show and try to tailor the tricks accordingly. Doing magic is a wonderful experience therefore i want the customer to get the first hand introduction of this experience.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Some magicians always start out by saying"when i was 7 my daddy gave me a magic set", not Kraynork. It seemed like I incorporated many other disciplines on the road to magic. I toured Europe as a fiddle player with swing bands for 7 years. I returned to the United States to study engineering and graduated from the University of Stony Brook as a material engineer. I taught mathematics and physics at city college and then in the high schools for 25 years. So I achieve experience with people at all levels and at the same time I have a vast knowledge of what's relevant. All of this set me up for my involvement with the magical arts.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
While I was with my wife in Shanghai China raising a son, I kept myself occupied with Bobo's book of coin magic. My wife introduced me to a magic store and that was it. I practiced the magic tricks while in Shanghai and one day took the few tricks that I had learned to the peoples park in the city. There while entertaining the crowd a person approached me and hired me for his kids party company ...and that's where it all began.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Last new years i did a 4 hour walk around magic appearance at a new years eve party for the vice president of the software division with apple computers(you can see the review). I did a magic show for the Sunday reading hour for children at Terrapin Crossroads substituting for Phil Lesh while he was on tour. I did a birthday for Thumbtack techies , a birthday for commercial airplane pilots, I do shopping malls, festivals, political parties , benefits, shows for homeless families, shows for abused children every year, birthdays at homes , my restrictions are few...magic is for everyone

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Project? I'm a working magician that does magic shows right now, i do have on going engagements but for right now my projects are limited to my constructs.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
make sure you click with the person you are talking to, and that they have a sense of being open to your demands, look at their reviews. A video or a website might just be a fabrication of their talents, so reviews are a good honest description. Know that the price that they charge has to be associated with some type of reputation ..

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Ask what magic tricks they do and have the magician explain as to how they formulate their show and why they tailor it to the particular venue. Ask what the magician needs in terms of space , table, chairs,is the show outside or inside and just an overall view of what the magician is to expect when they get there.
