Introduction

I’m Mike Massé, a professional singer/guitarist based in Littleton, Colorado. I perform acoustic classic rock for weddings, corporate events, private parties, and more—across Colorado and worldwide. With over 190 million views on my YouTube channel, I’ve earned a global following by sharing impactful acoustic renditions of beloved classic rock hits—from The Beatles and Billy Joel to Simon & Garfunkel and Pink Floyd with audiences from Dublin to Sydney. Google "acoustic Africa cover," and you will find me. 🎶 Over 1,000 classic rock songs in my repertoire ⏱️ Up to 3 hours of live music 🔊 Professional Bose PA system provided for local performances Whether you’re planning a wedding ceremony and reception, a holiday party, a corporate gathering, or a special celebration, I tailor every setlist to fit your event. I’ve performed at venues around the world and bring the same passion and professionalism to every show—big or small. I left my full-time job of 13 years as a public defender in SLC after success of my YouTube channel opened the door. Cover the music, cover the world.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
My rate is based on travel distance (I am based in Littleton). $1800 for up to three hours in the Denver metro area, $2400 in the mountains (may require hotel room for the night), $3600 in the US (plus travel, hotel and PA rental), and $4000 in the rest of the world (plus travel, hotel and PA rental).

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Agree on the price, location and time and date, and answer any further questions they may have. I try to accommodate as many requests as I can.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have a music degree in sound recording with voice as my performance requirement. I also have a JD and worked as a public defender in SLC for 13 years. I do music full time these days.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I auditioned at my first restaurant gig when I was 23, and just kept learning covers. I sang on the side throughout college. I started a YouTube channel in 2008, and eventually the notoriety of that channel allowed me to purse music as a full-time opportunity.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
A lot of weddings, some simple, some extravagant. I've done weddings or private/corporate/non-profit gigs in Australia, Switzerland, Germany, England, the Netherlands, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, and elsewhere. I enjoy doing private gigs when presented the chance.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I performed at RUSH Fest in Scotland recently. It was my second RUSH Fest (did one in Brazil last year). They are fundraisers for cancer, which is a cause that is important to me personally.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
See how many views they have on YouTube. 😉

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Do you need lighting, along with sound?
