What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

What customers should know about my pricing is that my base price fluctuates depending on size and time range of the event. Please be as detailed as possible when requesting a quote.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

A customer and I will discuss the size and my arrival prior to the event. Knowing the size is very important because I can perform for a small group for and hour, or 300+ crowd over 3 hours. I usually arrive after every member is has arrived, usually about an half hour after the function has started.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

For the past 11 years I've practice or learned magic through reading books and watching videos online. I still do these currently but I prefer the method of going to New York and learning one on one with an expert.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I've been performing and studying magic since middle school, but didn't really change my whole perception until David Blaine's magic special. I quickly got attached to his dead panned face and mono toned voice because that was exactly how I talked through puberty. I completely grew out of it in high school but i still love his acts.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I've worked with car dealerships, private corporate events on The Spirit of Boston, and the Sea Port Hotel. I've also worked with fundraisers and Performed for the Boston Celtic's.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Look up everything this person has done and try to visualize it at your party. You don't want to be surprised when the guy you hired starts to spit balls of flames for your grandmother's 90th birthday party.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Will this be the right person for the job? There are many different versions of a "magicians". There are children magicians who are amazing with kids, that are terrible with adults and; magicians who only do astounding adult corporate events who can't keep a five year old's attention span. Question the person you're about to hire about everything.
