We use language to communicate by sharing our ideas with others, learning ideas from other people by asking questions and coming together to create something greater than ourselves. So please feel free to strike up a conversation with me anytime and I'm sure we'll both learn quite a lot from each other :) I play a variety of instruments, play a variety of styles of music and teach students of all ages and skill levels. Although my main instruments are guitar, bass, piano, ukulele and drums. As per my business card: "Instrument and Music Theory Lessons for Students Of All Ages From Beginner To Advanced Levels" I enjoy everything about the work I do! I get to play music with and teach curious, motivated, talented students and in the process I generally learn something such as a new song, style of playing or way of teaching that I can then share with my other students. I also get to enjoy the hospitality of the clients and parents of students that I teach.

I am a pianist of 20 years with a masters degree in piano performance, along with professional performing experience in classical, jazz, and rock styles and 9 years of teaching experience. I focus on technique and expression to allow my students to achieve their musical goals in the quickest way possible with ease of playing.
