Introduction

The services we provide are not the standard cookie cutter services and products. Our products are custom made to each client's desires. Our unique products are made of the finest materials available today and most often, not seen anyplace else! When our clients hire us, they hire us for the artpieces we are known for and not simply a thunbdrive tucked away and never to be seen again. If you are in love with yourself and in love with being unique, then I'd love to chat about your event! I absolutely love creating the art that clients love! When I pick up my camera to create special images, it's like Christmas for me simply because I love what I do! As I go back and look at previous images, I'm always seeking out ways to improve and make the next image that much better.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Pricing is all inclusive and includes everything you would need in order to enjoy your portraits for many years to come.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
One of my main priorities is to get to know my client and what she/he is in search of and at that point is when I can help them to achieve their goals. Once I know how to help my client, I begin the education process so they know exactly how our process work and what they can come to expect in a final deliverable item.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Continuing education is vital to the photographic industry since technology changes so quickly! It seems like it was just yesterday when I was shooting with my 645 Bronica film camera! As a member of professional organizations, I attend training and seminars from the world's best, to keep abreast of the latest developments in the industry.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I have always been involved in the arts. My passion goes all the way back to midddle school where I took my electives in photography and music. It was something about the darkroom process that I loved and always wanted to create special images of my own. From middle school to a class held at the local community college, photography has stuck with me and will continue to be a passion of mine.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
My most common types of jobs are definitely weddings! While weddings are the most common types of jobs I've been hired for, others have stemmed from the long hours of covering a wedding. For example, portrait sessions and commercial clients have both come from my covering a wedding day. I just love when this type of relationship is developed where I can continue working with a client long after the wedding day.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
In order to hire a professional photographer, you must consider a few things before doing so. You MUST have a connection with him/her since afterall, you will spend an extremely large amount of time with this person on your wedding day! Understand their pricing model. Different photographers price them and their products differently so it's important that you understand these differences. Once you have spoken with or met your photogrpaher, book them! Keep in mind that there are other potential brides shoppping around for the same services you are and in many cases(such as mine) the photographer only dedicates one day to one wedding and client at a time.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Customers should be clear on what's expected vs what's promised. Digital files are a great way to view portraits on a smart device or monitor but they lack the longevity of a printed product. Do you recall ever looking at you parent's memories on an 8 track? Probably not and here lately even VHS memories are a thing of the past. The one thing you can count on, however is a printed portrait!
