Introduction

🏳️‍🌈 I love painting faces of children and adults alike. I've worked at corporate events, birthday parties, neighborhood celebrations, weddings, and many other kinds of gatherings. My clients have included Minneapolis Public Schools, St. Paul Parks and Rec, the Mall of America, the Minnesota Twins, and the Mayo Clinic. I use theater-grade, hypoallergenic paints. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Nothing too complicated- maybe a few emails back and forth confirming the place and time, asking about any special requests, etc.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I studied studio art at Oberlin College and have taken numerous classes in drawing, oil painting, acrylic painting, darkroom photography, and ceramics.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

A friend knew that I was an artist and she asked me to face paint at her son's birthday party. I was hooked!

What types of customers have you worked with?

I've painted faces in all kinds of settings: Twins games, the Mall of America, a traditional Vietnamese wedding, street festivals, neighborhood gatherings, birthday parties, store events, and corporate picnics. I also have experience working with physically and mentally disabled children and adults.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Book sooner rather than later, especially during the warmer months!
