I love what I do and bring a ton of energy and passion to every performance. The items used (money, silverware, jewelry, cards, mentalism) give the magic an interactive and spontaneous feel. I prefer to avoid the whole red-vested magician wardrobe and usually dress as an event guest. My appearance will be specifically tailored to the ages and personalities of your event. I love watching people's reactions to my magic. Everyone thinks they have the best seat in the house if they're in the front row. In actuality, I always have the best seat in the house. The expressions on people faces always makes my job a delight. Because of my line of work, I'm always interacting with people who are smiling, laughing, or just in awe of what they're seeing. That makes it all worth while.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a background in theater which allows me to always frame my magic and mentalism as a performance, putting the audience first.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I used to volunteer in pediatric units around NYC. I'd go room by room and entertain sick children. It was an excellent training ground for me to build confidence, since the kids were so thankful and their was low pressure of success. I can't think of a better way to get in practice!

What types of customers have you worked with?

I've performed at Mike Bloomberg's New Year's Eve party and given private lessons to Ralph Lauren and Ivanka Trump. But that doesn't mean that I don't regularly perform form small backyard events. I guarantee I'll be a great fit for your event!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure that your entertainer can fit the mood of the party. Will the performer be too stiff, or too casual? With a background in theater, I can adapt the style of my show to fit your needs! Some magicians are on auto-pilot. They have a set show and they do it for every kind of audience. I adapt my show on the fly to make sure I'm performing the kinds of tricks the audience is responding to! You'll love the way I get your guests engaged and interacting with each other.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Hiring a magician is a lot like buying a car. Do you just want to get from A to B, or do you want to enjoy the style, the handling, the lack of road noise. There's a reason why luxury cars cost more, and the right option should get you excited about your event.
