Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We offer packages for simplicity and ease of planning. Our most popular wedding package is DJ/MC & Photo Booth for a flat fee of $1250. We also offer DJ/MC, Photo Booth, with Day of Coordinating for $2000. This includes yard games and a custom monogrammed light.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We typically like to get an understanding of the event: date, # of guests, theme, location, etc. This allows to offer the best package for the event. We get to know the customer and allow them to decide if we are the best fit for the needs. Once a customer decides to book we send our contract, invoice, and event questionnaire. For bookings we require a deposit of $150 to retain the date. Once the client has booked we confirm the details and create customizations to their liking. We always confirm the event the week of to ensure everything is smooth.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We have worked birthday parties, weddings, graduation parties, from children's parties to adult only.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Don't go for the cheapest! You get what you pay for and not all photo booths are equal. The value of the photo booth is not all about the strips. We provide an online gallery of high quality photos, this is something you will have to remember your special event by for years to come. Many photo booths that offer low prices, use cheap equipment and cheap employees. You don't have to break the bank, but if you are willing to pay for a photo booth, you might as well hire a professional. Ask questions like, "what kind of printer do you use?" Industry standard is a professional die sub printer, should print high quality strips in less than 10 seconds. Also, ask if they use a DSLR camera. The camera and printer should be the main focus. The set up is merely cosmetics but that is something you should ask to see as well. I recommend open-air with beautiful backdrops.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

What is included? Do you charge extra for early set-up? What kind of printer do you use? What kind of camera do you use? Are there any add-ons you would recommend?
