Introduction

We are a professional studio-based business with over 15 years in the children's art and entertainment industry. We are a fully insured and travel to your location. We provide art enrichment for all ages, top quality costume characters portrayed by professional actors, award winning face painting, balloon twisters, henna artists, art classes, non-profit events, fairs and festivals and so much more. We love entertaining! At TeachArt2Me, we pride ourselves on staying at the top of the children's entertainment market. Our face painters all attend continuing education conventions multiple times a year and paint hundreds of faces each month. All of our other entertainers continually seek training and experience and trends and popular idea change. Our director is also on the board for the international henna society. We are not "hobby" painters, and we staff only with professional artists who have completed vigorous training and apprenticeships before going out into the community to provide professional services. Not only are our face painters complete professionals but all our artists and performers are fully trained and experienced in the field.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We have standards but we can work with reasonable budgets especially for non profits and events they want multiple Services. It’s always best to call And discuss options.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

First step is to check availability. Once we have narrowed down date time and location we collect a 1/3 deposit to secure the event. We always discuss details by email or phone to insure we are all on the same page as to what will be expected.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We have attended conventions, classes, online tutorials and have had one on one in person jam sessions. Some of Our staff even teaches on the national convention circuit now.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

As a former public school teacher we opened with the intent of offering arts and crafts enrichment education. That blossomed within a couple Years to the entertainment industry as requests for more party options came in. After some intense training we went headfirst into entertainment shortly after.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Everyone! From Churches to parties fairs and concerts!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Recently we facepainted, balloon twister, did glitter tattoos and caricatures for the fire and ice festival in Old Saybrook - the crowd was fantastic and we had a great time! Being free to the public speed was key to get through the lines and happy to say no one went unserviced! It was a great all day event!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Look for testimonials and real photos of their work. It’s also to know if it’s a true professional or a hobbyist. Make sure they are fully insured and have training in the field!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Location? Is it conducive to the entertainment you’re requesting? Length of time- do you have to right number of hours booked to accommodate everyone. Budget- know what the industry standard is for these services. Don’t try to lowball a quality entertainer - remember the adage - “you get what you pay for.”
